Accountability Notice
You are responsible for abiding by the rules set forth in the paragraphs below. Any violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension and/or termination of all services currently being provided.
1. Network Access Policy
As a Web Hosting Provider ("WHP"), Teanit offers clients the means to acquire and disseminate a wealth of public, private, commercial, and non-commercial information. We want our clients to be fully informed of their rights and obligations in connection with their use of the Internet. This policy supplements each client's respective services agreement.
Internet Etiquette: The Internet is not bound by countries or physical boundaries. It has its own ETIQUETTE and PRIVACY standards for electronic mail. Any attempt to send unsolicited mail is considered an invasion of privacy and directly violates Teanit policy.
2. Content Responsibility & Censorship
The fundamental fact about the Internet is that no one owns or controls it. While this accounts for its value, it places a high premium on the judgment of those who use it. Teanit cannot monitor, verify, or warrant the accuracy of information clients may acquire. Clients must exercise their best judgment, as some material may be sexually explicit or offensive.
When clients disseminate information, Teanit does not review, edit, or censor the content. Users bear the same liability as authors for copyright infringement, defamation, and harmful speech. Postings may affect other clients and harm our business reputation and operations.
3. Zero Tolerance Spam Policy
Teanit has zero tolerance for spam originating from our clients, our clients' clients, or for spam advertising websites hosted through our services.
Unsolicited commercial mass e-mailing is strongly disfavored. It is harmful not only because of its negative impact on consumer attitudes but also because it can overload equipment and disrupt service to all Teanit clients.
4. Spam Investigation & Violations
Teanit reserves the right to charge an investigation fee of $1000 (approx. EGY 50000.00) per complaint. We do not mediate with your sub-clients; you are solely responsible for all traffic and activities originating from your section of the network.
Penalty Notice:
Deliberate violations of our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) will result in immediate server suspension or termination at our sole discretion. The $1000 investigation fee applies to all verifiable spam complaints.
5. Project Inactivity & Team Re-allocation
To ensure efficient resource management, Teanit enforces the following development terms:
- Inactive Status: Any project with no client communication for 7 consecutive days without prior notice will be marked as dormant. Team resources will be pulled after a 2-working-day notice.
- Re-allocation Fee: To resume work on a dormant project, a fee of 20% to 30% of the total project cost will be charged.
- Delivery Timelines: Teanit holds no liability for delivery delays resulting from project dormancy or late client feedback.
6. Sprint Management & Billing
All work involving change requests, bug fixes, or additional feedback is reviewed on a Sprint Basis.
- Daily task assignments or daily feedback requests outside the current sprint scope will not be entertained.
- Invoices are administered on a weekly or bi-monthly basis and must be paid in advance before a sprint begins.
- Work on a sprint will only commence after invoice clearance from the Teanit accounts team.
7. UCE & Harassment Policy
Sending Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE/Junk Mail) is strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Emails referencing domains or IP addresses hosted by Teanit.
- Harassment via message frequency, language, or data size.
- Any activity that Teanit deems a violation will lead to account termination without refund.
8. Prohibited Legal Content
Clients are strictly prohibited from using Teanit facilities for activities that result in civil or criminal liability. This includes:
- Copyright Infringement: Unauthorized use of materials held by individuals or corporations.
- Obscene Material: Distribution of indecent speech or offensive materials.
- Defamation: Distributing defamatory speech that harms individuals or Teanit's reputation.
- Unauthorized Access: Hacking or attempting to access other computers or networks without authorization.
- Malicious Software: Distribution of viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or engaging in destructive cyber activities.
- Export Control: Violating laws regarding the export of encryption software outside authorized boundaries.
9. Bandwidth & Resource Utilization
Teanit provides storage and transfer limits in good faith. While we support legitimate website needs, we reserve the right to take action against users who exploit "unlimited" plans to the detriment of other clients.
Decision Authority: Teanit is the sole and final arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of resource usage. Websites found in violation may be removed without prior notice.
10. Security & Data Responsibility
The Internet is inherently insecure. Teanit cannot take responsibility for the security of communications transmitted over our facilities. We urge clients to assume all online communications are insecure and to take necessary precautions.
Legal Disclosure
We may disclose client information to comply with court orders, government requests, or to protect the safety of our network and clients.
Backup Responsibility
We are NOT responsible for data loss due to hardware failure. While we perform daily backups, the client is responsible for maintaining a full personal backup.
11. Indemnification
By using our services, the client agrees to indemnify and hold Teanit harmless from any claims, losses, or legal fees resulting from the client's violation of law or this policy. If Teanit is sued due to a client’s activity, the client will pay all damages awarded plus reasonable attorney’s fees.
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to Teanit servers or another client's presence is grounds for immediate termination without refund.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Technical Support team is dedicated to troubleshooting infrastructure issues. However, Teanit is not responsible for problems arising from bad coding practices, programming errors, or scripts implemented by the client.
Reseller Notice: As a reseller of web hosting services, we rely entirely on upstream providers for data center maintenance and high-level support. Teanit does not control server network stability in the USA or hardware failures and is absolutely NOT responsible for any downtime or damages incurred.
13. Domain Name Registration & Security
Regarding domain name registrations, Teanit acts as a reseller of ICANN-valid registrants. We hold NO control over the registered domains; it is the client's sole responsibility to manage entries, check renewal dates, and verify data accuracy.
- Errors: Any discrepancies in domain entries must be reported within 3 months of registration.
- Credential Security: It is your responsibility to keep FTP, database, and domain passwords secure. Teanit is not liable for compromises resulting from client negligence.
- Loss of Domain: We are not liable for the loss of a domain name to another party or issues related to transfers and renewals.
14. Online Payments & Invoicing
Online payments are handled via secure 3rd-party merchant accounts (e.g., PayPal, Stripe). Teanit does not store or receive sensitive credit card information.
Billing Policy:
ONLY the hard copy of the invoice posted via postal services is counted as a VALID legal proof. Electronic invoices (soft copies) are for reference only and are considered invalid as legal evidence due to their alterable nature.
15. Prohibited Content (Downloads).
You are NOT permitted to host commercially available software, fixes, patches, or electronic media for public download on your site. Teanit is not a platform for download sites.
Service Updates & Contact
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Members are expected to abide by these rules to ensure a secure hosting environment for all.
